Kathryn was trained under the expert eye of Maty Ezraty and Chuck Miller. She teaches regular Vinyasa Flow classes influenced by Ashtanga, arm balances, inversions, core work and laughter all offered in an accessible and playful way. She is the co-founder of "Poses for Paws", an organization dedicated towards raising money for animal shelters through yoga. Kathryn is the contributing yoga expert for Women's Health Magazine, a blogger for The Huffington Post, MindBodyGreen, Gaiam and contributes regularly to Yoga Journal through articles, blogs, print and podcasts. She currently travels internationally leading workshops.

Recent classes

Specifically crafted to help open and strengthen the muscles needed to kick, punch and grapple with mobility and stability. Includes hip rotating and strengthening, shoulder openers and strength work, and floor hip openers. All poses are mindfully connected through a gentle flow. A fun practice for even those without a martial arts background.
Practice Focus: Cross Train

Level 2 30 min
A challenging yet accessible practice that will leave you sweaty and satisfied. Leg lifts to the back and side open your practice and get the buns fired up. Variations on chair pose as well as crescent and warrior poses to further get you going. You will also learn some martial arts moves within a creative flow. A peak arm balance is offered before you enjoy a nice cool down.
Practice Focus: Buttock

Level 2 60 min
A fulfilling yoga sequence for people who have cramped space to work with. You will think big, but move small. May also be perfect if you are on the road or a frequent traveler. Build heat in a short amount of time. Expect to move quickly through lots of vinyasas, a solid standing flow, twists and a meditation to finish. Find space in your body, in whatever your space is to practice in.
