Kathryn was trained under the expert eye of Maty Ezraty and Chuck Miller. She teaches regular Vinyasa Flow classes influenced by Ashtanga, arm balances, inversions, core work and laughter all offered in an accessible and playful way. She is the co-founder of "Poses for Paws", an organization dedicated towards raising money for animal shelters through yoga. Kathryn is the contributing yoga expert for Women's Health Magazine, a blogger for The Huffington Post, MindBodyGreen, Gaiam and contributes regularly to Yoga Journal through articles, blogs, print and podcasts. She currently travels internationally leading workshops.

Meat Suit Flow - Use this practice as a reminder that you are not your body, you are an amazing spirit inhabiting this lovely meat suit of yours. Start with a supported heart opener then move through sun salutations. Includes some core and standing balance work. Positive body image reminders are woven into a traditional yoga practice to get your body and mind back into a loving and accepting space. Props Needed: Two blocks.
Level 2 20 min Kathryn Budig
A warm, loving, acceptance focused class that will hopefully make you walk away smiling. In the same way that your old trusted childhood teddy bear will always make you smile, so will this class. Best practiced on hard wood floors, with no long difficult holds. Just sweet, stretchy flows aimed to open your body, with some shoulder openers to release tension, fun hop ups, and long hip holds towards the end. Props Needed: Two blocks and a blanket.
Level 1-2 45 min Kathryn Budig
Welcome to your first day of flight school. Your new studies include the foundations of flight, tools needed to understand your flight gear, how to use it, and of course, how to make it stronger. Play with the beginning of flight, work your core to stabilize your take off and power up through your shoulders with a few non traditional exercises for maximum support. Cool it all down with a nice savasana. Props Needed: A block and wall space.
