Course Description

I’m excited that you’ve chosen to deepen your knowledge of sequencing. I’m confident this course will keep your sequencing fresh, authentic and skillful. In order to get the most from this course, I encourage you to engage with all of the educational materials in addition to the video lectures and practices. Please print the sequencing template(s) for each chapter and sue them to create your own sequences based on their formula. The “Essential” practices for each chapter provide you with a thorough, balanced practice that focuses on the topic at hand. The “Express” sequences provide you with a 16-posture sequence that breaks down specific target postures. You can practice these sequences on their own or use your creativity to expand them into longer sequences. The Glo practice links provide Glo monthly subscribers with a curated list of my favorite practices for each chapter topic. I’m confident that this training will help you and your students have a safe, sustainable, effective practice for many years to come!

"I find the course has made my sequencing much more effective and more organic than it was before"
Aprille Walker

"I chose this course because Jason Crandell is an amazing instructor with a clear, concise and no-nonsense approach to yoga. He teaches in a way that rings true for me and I feel his approach is what is best for my students and their needs. I decided to go online for this as I wanted to process the information better and a short week or weekend is just too quick to really get deeper into the content. I also loved that the course grew and expanded with our questions - it is organically developed for the students!

While I liked every aspect of this learning experience, I really enjoyed the way it was laid out. I thought the lectures and presentations made more sense when applied in the module to the online streaming class and found the list of Glo recommended classes really helped me understand the concepts better for my body and my instructing. I was also able to take the modules and apply them to my teaching more readily this way.

When I started the course, I was concerned about how to approach sequencing for my classes and was often very stressed to find new and exciting ways to sequence to keep my classes engaged. I feel much more at ease using the model we studied to teach and to adapt my classes to the students who show up rather than trying a preplanned model that would not work with the group in front of me. I find the course has made my sequencing much more effective and more organic than it was before and the style/model works incredibly well for me and my students. I have also come to understand that students LOVE repetition and it has made my classes grow exponentially in both size and learning! In all, I am way more confident in my ability to construct and deliver quality content to my students and find that I am much happier with the results of my teaching than before this course."

"Jason's approach to yoga and sequencing is simple, straightforward, focused, effective, and informed."
Sarah S.

"I took the Art of Sequencing course with Jason Crandell, and I'm so happy I did! During this course I learned a lot. When you take a YTTC, you learn basic sequencing, so it's essential to keep educating yourself and deepening your knowledge. Understanding how you have to sequence your classes (and why) is essential as yoga teachers; what our students experience in class and their evolution will depend on how we craft our sequences, as well as our own growth as yoga teachers and practitioners. Jason's approach to yoga and sequencing is simple, straightforward, focused, effective, and informed. He is knowledgable and experienced and explains everything in a simple and also fun way. Taking an online course is a great opportunity to keep learning at your own pace - I really have noticed a great difference both in my teaching and my self practice after taking this course. I absolutely recommend it, whether you are a teacher or not."
