Claudine believes that anything is possible. Her intention is to create an inclusive environment where students can move freely, feel good, have fun and experience the infinitude of possibilities within themselves. She believes that above all, humor is an essential ingredient in yoga and that laughter is the best core exercise there is. Claudine's humble guidance points her students towards the wisdom and strength they already possess. Her teaching style is influenced from Kripalu, Iyengar, Forrest, Vinyasa and AcroYoga as well as fitness and pilates. Claudine is also a certified holistic health counselor through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Her personal mission in life is to live a life of purpose, fueled by love, truth and courage.

HONZA LAFOND
Honza discovered yoga through his love for meditation and philosophy. Growing up in the Czech Republic, he had in insatiable hunger for finding the answers to life's existential questions: "After delving into various spiritual teachings through reading and regular meditation, I began collecting a collage of beliefs that over time brought much needed clarity to the invisible lens through which I perceive the world around and within me."

His physical practice began at 19 when he stumbled into a yoga class in Sydney. Honza is an accomplished artist, visionary, entrepreneur, but above all, a teacher of all things movement, wellness and spirituality. He teaches and inspires with raw yet playful and compassionate honesty to help bring your practice off the mat and into daily life. Honza has been an adventurer and a spiritual truth seeker throughout his entire life.

In his own words, "The challenge that inversions and arm balances offer builds confidence and strength, but more than anything it excites the ever present playful child within all of us. The playful nature of yoga is just as important as its disciplined aspect. It is the balance between the two that makes yoga practice a life long passion for so many people around the world and beyond. My mission is to inspire others to stay present, playful and to reach for greatness!"

This sweet and restorative practice addresses your hips and lower back. In just a short amount of time, practice a few postures that work together to encourage release and spaciousness. Poses are held for the perfect amount of time so that you can develop your breath, allow your body to soften and let go of any sensations you happen to experience. Props Needed: Two blocks, a blanket and a bolster.
1-2 10 Claudine Lafond
Flow your way through a fun and playful mashup of postures that will leave you buzzing from the inside out. Beginning with frog pose to welcome your hips, enjoy an overall warm up to prep your body and enliven your heart. Approach this practice with curiosity and courage and expect to be challenged and work up a sweat! Conclude with savanna on your own. Props Needed: Two blocks and a strap.
Practice Focus: Arm Balances
2-3 45 Claudine Lafond
Focus on feeling your breath flowing through you like a wave. Feel yourself soften and surrender as you find tranquility and release in a series of cozy postures like supported bound angle pose and a delicious supported savasana. Envelope yourself in a brief but potent practice that will ripple through the rest of your day, and enjoy your newfound sense of calm. Great to do before bed for a wonderful transition from day to night. Props Needed: A blanket, a bolster and a block.
