Vinyasa Flow Hatha

Short on time but want to sneak a sweaty yoga session into your day? These classes provide a complete practice in under 30 minutes so you can find your center and be on your way.

This quick paced, warming flow sequence peaks at urdhva danurasana (wheel pose). To begin preparing for this backbend, begin with low lunges, pigeon with quad stretch, some standing poses with chest opener variations leading up to danurasana. A supine hip opener and paschimottanasana (forward fold) finish your practice. Be energized and ready to move through your day.

When you only have fifteen minutes to get your move on, you have the "magic 10" at your fingertips. These ten postures will strategically cover the four ways in which your spine moves. Consistent and steady movements provide your body and mind with a nice wake up. Props Needed: Two blocks, a blanket and wall space.
