Work on opening the side body and chest (lats and pecs) to prepare for wheel. Compression in the lower back can be a limiting factor in wheel. The lower back generally extends more than the rest of the body, so when you come into backbends like wheel, if shoulders are tight, it can often be felt in your lower back. Use this practice to prepare your shoulders for wheel. Props Suggested: A blanket.
