Just like falling asleep, the moment we fall into meditation is magical. Through simple awareness and sustained focus, over time meditation can become a real tangible experience in the vinyasa flow practice. This practice focuses on the internal leg action which is key to mastering our peak pose, the notorious warrior 3 (virabhadrasana 3). We practice the action in sun salutations with crescent (surya namaskara) and particularly when raising a leg from down dog to step through. Free time at the end of the class for either backbends, inversions or hip openers. Lots of time to fall into a deep savasana also!
