90 Minute Practice Compassionately Balancing Kapha Dosha through Lighting
the Fire.
Heart opening poses, backbends and twits all increase circulation through
the upper chest, the seat of the kapha dosha in the body. These types of
poses lift our mood, stimulate mind and body and allow our inner luminosity
to shine forth, clearing off the dust and debris. While this is a warming
practice, it is suitable for all levels, including beginners and the
emphasis is on stimulating while maintaining a strong stable connection to
the earth and cultivating safety with each expansive pose.
