description
Stagnation is the enemy of good health! According to Ayurveda, our immune system is part of the intelligence of the body and moving through side stretches and twists helps to improve circulation in the body and remove stagnation. These types of movements enhance flow through the lymphatic system and support immune system function and intelligence. This luscious languid twisting practice stimulates our core immunity.

Amazing practice. I did this when it felt like I was about to get a cold. Afterwards, my energy level was so much better and the early symptoms of a cold were gone. Thank you.

Ms. Felicia thank you, is it possible for you to post the chant or where I may find it?

Amy Lee, sounds great. Glad the Yoga practice supported you. This week, I'm planning a class to strengthen the immune system, which will be a good follow-up.

Hi Felicia,
I was doing the CLEAN program by Dr. Alejandro Junger. It is a great program that does not involve any drastic or dangerous action. :-) How I implemented it (there are several options) was to have fresh "green" juice for breakfast (kale, celery, cucumber, cabbage, lemon, apple, or whatever else you want to include), a delicious lunch (from the approved foods list - you are trying to eliminate any possible allergens that could cause inflammation), and then a smoothie for dinner. You can also include snacks, if you need them. Oh, and of course, plenty of fresh water. Previously, I did the full three week program. This time, I only had about a week to detox. Even at just a week, it is a great rejuvenator. Your yoga class felt just right for the occasion and was a true gift. Thank you!

Amy Forrest,
Thanks for the thoughts on music. Sometimes I do use music during classes, and when I don't, I've wondered if the silence is soothing or if it's disorienting.

Amy Lee,
Hope your detox is going well. Are you still on it? I'd be happy to hear more. I designed this practice to be good for flushing out stagnation, so nice to hear that it is a good compliment to the detox.

Wonderful class! A great compliment to the detox I'm doing.

What a pleasant, gentle, yet invigorating practice. Thank You. I might suggest some soft background music - at times, during the silences, I wasn't sure if it was just silence in the class, or if my computer had frozen!
