  • Deborah Teske     Sep 17th, 2014
That was awesome. Love your shoulders - love this practice!! I have really tight shoulders and I will definitely add this to my weekly routine. Thanks for your kind words, wisdom, and wonderful gift of yoga. ;)

Love all of your classes! Very caring and thoughtful instruction and insights. Have really enjoyed your yin style classes as of late, would love to have more in addition to the upper level classes. For someone who does more asana, I find your viewpoint on the yin classes to be very educational and interesting! Thank you Kathryn!

First yogaglo class... have an awful neck and shoulders. Loved this! Thank you :)
  • Harriet Thompson     Jun 28th, 2014
I love all your chit chat, it takes my mind of its flitter and helps me focus. Have has a horrible neck so thank you for this...Hx
  • Faith Strongheart     May 24th, 2014
good poses. could have done without all the chitter-chatter. plus, spending more time on demonstrating how to get into the poses would be helpful - especially since you only have one camera angle and it's from pretty far away - talk specifics about what and how you are doing things since we are not in a class and can't look around to see how it's done.

    Namaste :)
  • Laura Baron     May 2nd, 2014
My shoulders are insanely tight from Muay Thai and this helped a lot...not holds I would have the patience for without someone else holding the space. I was a little sad that urdhva danurasana didn't become magically easy again, which I figured would be the case after all that. :/ thanks!
  • Brenda Graham     Apr 20th, 2014
This class is amazing. I knew my shoulders were tight but didn't realize just how tight. This is being added to my favorites. I will have to do this one often. Thank you, thank you, thank you....
  • Niamh Higgins     Apr 2nd, 2014
Thank you, Kathryn! I really enjoy all of your classes! I have 9 month-old triplet girls at home and I always look forward to their morning nap so that I can practise yoga. This class really helps my shoulders from all of the baby lifting :)
  • Dee Schiller     Mar 15th, 2014

  • Judy Dickerson     Feb 28th, 2014
Can't begin to thank you enough for the relief my shoulders feel after that lovely practice! I suffer from chronic migraines which has affected my neck and shoulders and makes so much of yoga difficult for me. This felt wonderful!! Deeply grateful!
  • Emily Rose     Feb 28th, 2014
So lovely! Loved your "flossing" analogy. :) Exactly how I feel. Namaste
  • Cheri Carleton     Feb 27th, 2014
    Right now no sound
  • Cheri Carleton     Feb 27th, 2014
I love yogaglo, but the videos load so slowly and sometimes even time out. Is there anyway to have them load faster?
    • YogaGlo     Feb 27th, 2014
Hi Cheri. We have sent you an email with some troubleshooting tips.

  • Elaine Lang     Jan 22nd, 2014
Great shoulder and heart opener! my Eagle felt so different. The backbend hold was challenging and stimulating. Thanks so much. Namas te
  • Shannon Ferretti     Jan 4th, 2014
I feel like melted wax! Awesome shoulder stretches, I loved the thread the needle variation.
  • Josiah Ronco     Dec 14th, 2013
I love the stretch with the blocks under elbows and head dropped down, I didn't know how bad I needed that!
  • Kelsey Ravlich     Dec 7th, 2013
OMG thank you Kathryn! This was amazing for releasing a "slept on it funny" shoulder. Thank you for continuing to talk through the video. Hearing your voice allowed me to relax into the poses without worrying that the vid had frozen in long holds!
  • Katie Wisor     Nov 14th, 2013
This was a fantastic 45 minutes! I didn't realize how much build up I had in my shoulders. And this was the first time I was able to get up and hold a headstand and not have a wall to support. Success!
  • celestina swanson     Nov 12th, 2013
I loved the poses and sequencing but craved more silence to connect deeper into the poses and my breath. Thankyou!
  • Cheri Christian     Nov 1st, 2013
I was convinced that nothing could help my aching shoulders...then I took this class. Thank you, thank you!
  • Jazmin Fernandez     Oct 29th, 2013
this was so great! i've been NEEDING this for as long as I can remember. Thanks for your energy kathryn <3 namaste :)
  • Hannah Williams     Oct 16th, 2013
wow so amazing. I have terrible shoulder pain and this helped so much. Doing the T shape and then rolling to the side over the shoulder bought so much heat into my shoulders. That is the first time I have done yoga that has had so much healing heat my shoulders actually went red! This is the best class so far!!! Thank you Hannah xxxxx
  • saori hirota     Sep 30th, 2013
Hi Kathryn, this class took away my stiffed shoulder pain. Thans so much! Now, please make a tutorial video of how to do chaturanga from scissor. Or hip opener class would be great also. Love your class:)
  • sarah fretwell     Sep 22nd, 2013
This was amazing, I've been unwell this week so this was just what I needed for my aching back! namaste

  • Rick Widdifield     Sep 4th, 2013
Amazing shoulder class Kathryn. I have impingement on the right side and this class relieved the pain completely. Thanks!
  • chamath weerawarna     Aug 25th, 2013
This was my first attempt at Yin style yoga. I really enjoyed it but I found that as I moved through the class, my shoulders were getting tighter. I can usually get into Wheel pose without much trouble but today I had to stay in bridge. This has always been the case for me, the longer I hold stretches the more my body resists. Is there any technique you could recommend for me to get the benefits of this style of yoga or perhaps is it just not for me? Thanks for the class :-)
  • Miranda Knox     Aug 20th, 2013
    Thank you! <3
  • Michelle Peterson     Aug 16th, 2013
The practice is great. Unfortunately, it was very hard to hear what katherine was saying as her voice would get too soft at times.
  • Heather Wininger     Aug 4th, 2013
That was amazing. I am carrying around two young children all day, and this was just the release I needed. The upward bow was completely unexpected and perfect. Thank you.
  • Stacie Burmeister     Jul 30th, 2013
Great for anyone who works a desk job (like me!) Feels so good on your shoulders and completely relaxes the chest and all the tight muscles filled with stress from the day.
  • Shari Gass     Jul 22nd, 2013
Wonderful as usual, Kathryn. Normally I can't reach my hands behind me when I do the stretch where you begin on your belly and roll to side. I think it was the 3rd one in the sequence. But, after doing the long holds in the first poses they came together no problem. I was surprised. My shoulders are so happy. I too noticed a difference in your voice- not in a bad way just different.

  • Sarah Hon     Jul 13th, 2013
Great class, thanks Kathryn. BTW, I enjoyed your instruction, but also like lots of silence in a yin class - so don't think you need to try to fill the gaps :)
  • Hind KS     Jul 10th, 2013
Thank you, I should do this practice more often :)
  • Annelie Alexander     Jul 4th, 2013
Lovely after a long day at the office. Thank you!

Thanks - a very nice way to end the day.
  • kim edxcsdgzsfb     Jul 1st, 2013
Thank you Kathryn. I am a Pilates Instructor and I find that most of my clients have rounded shoulders and tight pecs. What a great way to open those tight areas. I am going to include those stretches into my classes and into my own practice. Thank you again.
  • Karen DiGenova     Jun 30th, 2013
Amazing, my computer shoulders thank you:-)
  • Micole Linehan     Jun 29th, 2013
Just what I needed, and as usual Kathryn, just what I needed to hear. :) Thank you!
  • Donna Williams     Jun 29th, 2013
Just saw this advertised on fb and thought perfect before bed and indeed it was. Massive tension release in the shoulders - awesome! Mucho gratitude Kathryn and hugs from Geneva. D x
