    Hi Kia, I loved it! Same question as Julie, what is the name of the kriya so I can teach this one. Or better asking of all your video's because they all are so wonderful and powerful. And even when it's hard you find a way to make me smile ;)

    I am in a Kundalini TT.... this class was powerful.. Great Way to begin 2014. I have been taken of few of your yogaglo classes and absolutely love them. Which "Kriya Set" is this and where can I get it for my teaching/practice library.

    Wonderful practice Kia. One question: as I have only been practicing Kundalini for a few weeks, I am wondering about the shoulder and neck strain I feel when I do breath of fire especially in cobra pose. Is this part of the transformation process?!

      Dear Wendy, shoulder and neck strain is not a sign of the transformation process. Check your alignment in Cobra - start in low cobra, make sure your elbows are bent and hugging the sides of the body. Lift forward and up with the chest, keeping your shoulder blades moving away from the ears towards the floor.
      Practice doing Breath of Fire in easy pose keeping your whole body relaxed EXCEPT the gentle pulsing of your belly. You might be tensing your upper body and trying to force the breath.

    I started doing this practice, but the description doesn't mention that it involves doing cobra pose for long stretches at a time (or maybe that's all kundalini yoga?? I've never done it before). The teacher did not give instruction regarding how to protect the lower back while doing cobra pose for 16 breaths, and the first pose was uncomfortable for me, so I decided to do a different class.

      Thanks for your comment Hannah. Kundalini yoga does involve holding poses for extended periods of time. Not always Cobra though! Whilst practicing cobra, make sure to keep your legs super active, stretching back through your toes, lifting your knee caps and thighs (particularly your inner thighs) and keeping your tailbone lengthening towards your heels. The more the legs work, plus a light lift from the lower belly, the more the back will feel supported and protected. Many blessings, Kia

    I LOVE this practice. It happens to be the perfect class for a chiropractor to open up the muscles after doing mainly the opposite postures and muscle use in our work! Thank You!

    Thank you so much! This was a wonderful class. I could really feel a shift in my energy from the start of my practice to the end of it. By the time we were in savasana my hands, arms and face were vibrating with this wonderful sensation. I also loved your final closing message, it was very beautiful and inspiring. Thanks again!
