I loved this one in particular. I woke up so surly and resentful of all the things I had to do today and this seriously transformed it into a joyful, happy day. Thank you so, so much!
It is possible to meditate when you are in pain- but it is almost impossible when you are in self-inflicted pain. Sitting in an unnecessarily uncomfortable posture amounts to inflicting pain on yourself. Get comfy- learn to meditate- then you can work on the outer posture if you so desire. For now, give your poor hips a break and sit on a chair or sofa. :)
