Take time to loosen up your body, most especially your hips. Less talking, more bending. You'll want two blocks, a strap and a blanket or two.

I am going really difficult recovery from a car accident and this was my first practice back onto my mat. I needed this. My right leg is still injured but healing and because of the injury my hips constantly are tight. This was such a beautiful opening. I am amazed at how much emotional energy is trapped in our hips/psoas. Thank you so much Amy for this beautiful, strong, yet soft practice. (tears in my eyes at this very moment typing this....so much gratitude).

Wow, Uma, car accidents are so very scary and intense - I am honored that this was your first practice of your recovery and touched that it was powerful for your healing process. Wishing you a speedy and easy recovery in all ways... xoxox
