- wendy messel Jan 2nd, 2013The instructions are amazing! I practice a lot at home, and I often tend to forget the breathing practices. I was so happy when I discovered your 10 minutes tutorials, and now I do them all the time. It is great to be led trough it, it makes me relax more and you are super comfortable to listen to :)
- Amy Ippoliti Jan 2nd, 2013Thank you, Wendy! Very sweet. How wonderful that you've reconnected with pranayama! I just finished my practice and feel so alive! Keep it up!
- Jennifer Pittam Dec 4th, 2012Really clear descriptions, thank you. When we engage the bandhas should there be tension in the surrounding muscles? This is one time when there should be, I think?
- Amy Ippoliti Dec 8th, 2012Hi Jennifer, I would probably use a different word than "tension" to describe it. I'd also say that the bandhas are focused areas of boundary, and surrounding muscles follow that focus, but are not actively fired. Hope that makes sense...
- Jennifer Pittam Dec 26th, 2012Thank you, yes it makes sense - but requires practice!
- Amy Ippoliti Jan 2nd, 2013Definitely! Take your time and remember to enjoy being breathed and breathing back. :)
