Listen to Yourself & Accept Yourself

Hatha | By Christina Sell on Aug 26 2012
This level 1 class is great for those days when you need to rest your arms and take the weight-bearing load out of your wrists and shoulders. With focused work in the legs and plenty of alignment cues, this practice offers encouragement to listen to yourself, to accept yourself, and to practice yoga in a way that is mindful and healing.

I am recovering from a double mastectomy and found this to be a great workout to keep my legs moving. I liked the reminders to squeeze to get the legs to work a little deeper. It is also a great class to work on balance and alignment as I recover.

Thank you Christine. Your instructions really helped me to realize alignment issues and work to fix them. This is the first time I've done one of your videos and I loved it. I think it's the first time I've gotten all the way through a 30 minute video without feeling like it's way beyond my ability level and I have to stop. Only wish you had continuously reminded me to hold in my belly and reminded me even more often to squeeze my legs. Loved this one. Thank you, again. :)
