This practice is like upgrading your operating system for the body, mind, heart, and spirit. With a sequence that includes alternating forward folds, twists, and hip openers, our primary aim is releasing tension in the neck and shoulders. We do this by paying attention to the length of the spine--from top to bottom--in this class that allows us to befriend the concept of surrender. Instead of giving up, we are deeply connecting with the different layers of our body: physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, our higher knowledge, and our sense of bliss and connectedness. How do we befriend our body, mind, heart, spirit? How do we become our best friend in this lifetime? This is the aim of this practice--go deep, slow, and potent.

    I came to Yogaglo when I was feeling intense pain in my neck and selected this class from my queue. It addresses what I need most in my life right now on a physical and emotional level to heal and move forward. I enjoyed the way you moved outwardly in terms of making yourself most comfortable in a pose and taking care of your body as the foundation for loving yourself on all levels. Thank you for this gift.

    Thank you Felicia, I miss these one hour classes, it seems you don't do them anymore. The hour long practice as well as the long holds in poses is the best way (for me) to slow everything down and lengthen the breathing pattern. Namaste :)

We still do one hour classes, but there have been a lot of requests for the shorter classes, so we've been featuring a series of shorter classes--but the longer classes are still found here on the archive and we're adding new ones all the time.     Sat Nam Felicia! I loved this class. It really has a lot of self-compassion and love in it! And I really needed to show that to my body after being sick with a cold all week.     Oh, do you have a Yin Yoga or Restorative Yoga class that focuses completely on neck tension. I have 3 herniated disks and some arthritic facets. I think you would do a great class on that. Just a special request!! Lol!! (:

      Dear Juliana, thank you for your kind note. I find we need regular reminders to be compassionate to ourselves. It's almost as though we need permission for kindness. I hope you're feeling better and I'm glad to hear that you are enjoying the music! Yes!! There are a few classes by me that address tension in the neck and shoulders. While I am not a medical doctor and this practice is not a substitute for medical advice, please make sure to consult a medical professional for advice. According to the teachings of yoga, it is important to be cautious when practicing forward folds. But
