Pressed for Time Practice

Ashtanga | By Jodi Blumstein on May 22 2012
This 30-minute practice is a great, pressed for time practice which focuses on Backbending. The sequence is based on the beginning of the 2nd series of Ashtanga yoga and this one moves you quickly into deep backbends, then closes with a nice rest.

Phenomenal class Jodi! I tend to avoid ashtanga classes as I only have 20 min to 45 min sessions in the morning and evening and I find its too rushed for me--- but this was fabulous and I thank you! If i wanted to do more ashtanga how would you recommend i practice given my time constraints? Thank you!
    • Jodi Blumstein     May 25th, 2014
      Hello Vindhya!
i am sorry i didn't get to this one sooner! I have definitely been adding more shorter classes here, so keep working on the primary series shorter practices for a while!

      peace,

This is a great class to do when there isn't enough time for full practice. Thank you Jodi. This means that at least I am able do some practice every day.
