This is a complete practice that will challenge you and keep you moving through a fluid sequence. This class includes creative sun salutations, strong warrior 1 and warrior 2 standing sequences, core strengthening, twists, hip openers and backbends (Dhanurasana, Urdvha Dhanurasana).     I just have to comment again! This is my all time favorite class after being a member for well over a year. I've practiced at least 5 times since finding it less than a month ago and that says a lot (I get bored easily - haha). I'm just becoming a 2/3 student and this class challenges, strengthens, lengthens, teaches AND makes me feel so accomplished afterward. It is a perfect class. Thank you again!

    Loved this. Really like the instruction in bridge pose to little from the outer hips with the inner thighs moving in and down. Never heard this before but could really feel the difference, it stopped me from clunching my bum (which i find hard in this pose) and i could feel more space in the lower back which is just what I needed as my SI joint has been feeling all jammed up. Thanks!

    I'm now your student for life Stephanie. This class was challenging and invigorating. Usually, while I'm practicing yoga my mind wanders and I have trouble focusing. I did not have this problem today because I was following your cues on how to perfect some of the poses. I've been practicing for 10 years and had never heard some of those 'little' things that make the poses stronger. Thank you for pulling me out of my yoga rut. You are by far my FAVORITE teacher on yogaglo!

    Hi stephanie, I always go for your classes when I need a less taxing class but gives me plenty of heat to work with. As usual I love the little surprise tough poses you threw in, especially the warrior 3-garudasana flow. Now I feel good that I've put in one hour of yoga and can proceed to cook for my husband :) Thanks!

    Stephanie... I'm blown away. I am so glad I tried one of your classes -- you have a student for life now. So often I've found some of the level 2 classes kind of "stuck" in the same design... and some of the level 2/3 classes leave me unable to participate because I'm not in Cirque du Soleil (your reference...*smile*). This was strong and I feel like classes like these will really help me progress, strengthen, and learn. I was totally in sync with the whole class - very rare. You gave me the heated workout I desire, the relaxing breathing, and well... I'm BLISSED OUT! Alright, enough gushing. (laugh) Thank you, Stephanie! <3 Sarah

      Anantasana is the actual name of the pose. Ananta is a name of Visnu. According to Hindu mythology, Vishnu sleeps in the primeval ocean on his couch Sesa, the thousand headed serpent. In his sleep a lotus grows from his navel. In that lotus is born the Creator Brahma . The pose is found in the temple dedicated to Lord Ananta Padmanabha (ananta=vishnu padma = lotus nabha = navel. In South India. Vishnu also know as the maintainer of the universe. From a history/legends of asana pose junkie

    Since the format change on yogaglo whenever I pause videos the sound or the video image gets stuck and out of synch.... really annoying. How can I fix this?

    you had me at 3 urdhva's and hanumanasana to finish. Clear and succinct teachings. Let the poses do their work with your attention and effort guiding the pose.

    Ahh, that sweet rush after a strong moving practice and then the "crown" rush, Urdvha Dhanurasana, there is nothing quite like this natural high. Then you release and a big smile spreads through out the body. Thanks Stephanie, this was awesome.
