Happy Valentine's Day Jodi, and my fellow yoginis and yogis. This is probably my favorite expression of the primary as a regular practitioner. I have been practicing Ashtanga 6x week for about the past year and a half. I have noticed a difference in my life and I feel I am truly starting to walk more of my yoga path. The other limbs of yoga naturally incorporate themselves into my life the more dedicated I am to my asana practice. I also began my Hatha teacher training and would like to do my ashtanga teacher training (none offered in my area). I started and really only have practiced Ashtanga here on yogaglo. The site, support and teachers are a daily part of my life. I am so grateful that we all can support many styles of yoga and share our love for this practice we call yoga!

      Hello Leanna!

thank you for this lovely Valentine! For me the practice is certainly the gift of my life, and i am so grateful I can share it with you too. Your comment made me curious about where you live and how we can find you the right path to teach Ashtanga yoga in your area....

      peace,

An oldie but a goodie :)
I remember practicing / breakfasting with your Mom back in the MacArthur Park era. She is a rockstar! I could definitely go for some Lydia's cereal, hemp mylk and Harry's berries after this practice...

This was a great, very traditional class. Even thought the Primary Series is unchanging in terms of postures and sequence, each led class is just a little different from all the others (as is one's own personal practice). Jodi knows just how much (and how little) to say--her directions are helpful, but she doesn't talk so much as to distract. Thanks for another great full primary series class, Jodi!
