Description
In our forward oriented world the tendency to slouch puts a lot of pressure on the spine & the internal organs. This class focuses on cultivating extension in the spine in some simple ways and some more precarious positions. Take what you need and find some expansion through the front of the body to take some pressure off the spine and the internal organs in the process. Some arms balancing variations & transitions included.

- Lisa Austin Dec 12th, 2012Hi Tiffany, just started Yogaglo, and loving it!!! I have done mainly yours and Seane Corne's classes so far. I like your matter of fact attitude yet extremely compassionate reasonable approach. I am a former track/crossfit athlete that loves the challenges you come up with, yet i am always looking to work on my weaknesses. Thank you for being an amazing, clear, well rounded coach in these practices. I look forward to exploring all your videos.
- Tiffany Cruikshank Feb 18th, 2013Thanks Lisa, glad you're enjoying my classes! I love a good challenge. ;)
- Nadia Rqm Dec 3rd, 2012thanks for this practice tiffany. It is definitely challenging and I may have 'cheated' my way out of several poses by making my own easier variations but I'll keep coming back to this class to gauge my improvements. I love the balancing half moon, the crow flow, and working the crow push ups. I love the urdvha dhanurasana against the wall too.
- Tiffany Cruikshank Feb 18th, 2013Glad you're enjoying it, its not cheating, just modifying and important to do sometimes since everyone's body is a bit different. So good for you! xoxo ;)
- Catriona Andrew Nov 8th, 2012Thank you Tiffany for another stunning class. Truly extended spine!

- Laila Awadalla Sep 29th, 2012I was able to get into (and hold!) side crow for the very first time! Your instructions were just what I needed to hear. Thanks for a great class, Tiffany!
- Tiffany Cruikshank Nov 4th, 2012Great to hear. ;)
- lindsey pavao Sep 26th, 2012great class! One thing, I can't seem to do side crow without hurting the tissue in my triceps and thigh, like there is too much pressure caused by gravity to relax or extend the pose. Is this normal, and is there anything I can do to make it less painful?
- Tiffany Cruikshank Nov 4th, 2012Some sensitivity is normal at first, keep trying to lift the hips up from your core and just practice a little at a time until it gets easier. ;)
- Ann Constantino Sep 24th, 2012I loved this class! I always enjoy your work-and-fun factor, but this practice was especially appreciated by my spine which felt spacious and vibrant afterwards. I had a discectomy/laminotomy a little over a decade ago at L5S1 and have a lot of chronic compression, and this was like therapy for it. Thank you, thank you!
- Tiffany Cruikshank Nov 4th, 2012Great to hear Ann! ;)
- Leigh Ann Ablah Sep 23rd, 2012Killer! From beginning until the end! And I mean that in a good way! THANKS!
- Cristen Malia Sep 17th, 2012Thanks, Tiffany. Crow push-ups, urdhva at the wall, loved it all. Awesome class!
- Mara Dew Sep 17th, 2012Gotta love the crow "push ups"! those were great. Also, the side crow series and the wall back bends to hanuman handstand. As always, I love your creative choreography. Keeps me on my toes... Thanks!
- Tiffany Cruikshank Nov 4th, 2012I love those. :)
- yogagal Sep 17th, 2012GREAT Practice! Feel 2" taller. You are so strong, what strength training do you do...weights? or? I've not been able to develop your kind of strength from only my yoga practice. just curious.
- Tiffany Cruikshank Nov 4th, 2012Just yoga now days for me, you'd be surprised how strong you will get over time. ;)
- yogagal Nov 4th, 2012would love to have a class of your favorite all around personal practice.
- Tiffany Cruikshank Sep 16th, 2012Thanks guys, glad you're enjoying it!
- Flo Sheffield Sep 15th, 2012Loved this. Many things I have been wanting to work on all in one practice!
- Jeremy Wolfe Sep 14th, 2012One of my favorites. Loved the wall backbend.
- Autumn Jordan Sep 14th, 2012Loved, loved, looooved the side crow flow. Fantastic! Thank you Tiffany! :)
- Karen Kurtz Sep 14th, 2012I loved the backbending on the wall. Challenging but so much freedom.
- Kimberly Miller Sep 14th, 2012Thanks Tiffany! Definitely offered a challenge. Is there a benefit to doing karna pidasana instead of halasana?
- Tiffany Cruikshank Sep 16th, 2012Not so much as far as the inversion effect goes but it will stimulate the abdominal organs a little more with the compression effect and offer more of a stretch if needed for the back line of musculature. But if you get all of that in halasana then its not necessary. :)
