Description
Dedicated to opening the full-circumference of the hip-joints, this class will leave your hips feeling clear, spacious and balanced. So often, “hip-opening” practices focus on the back and outer-hips while neglecting the front and inner-compartments of the hips. Instead, this balanced practice is full of lunges, standing poses, and other hip-opening postures that will dig deep into your hip-flexors and adductors as well as the outer and back portions of your hips. This is Jason’s most complete hip-opening practice to date on yogaglo!
Thanks for yet another inspiring class, much appreciated!
Great class, I've been neglecting portions for sure and happy for the reminder.
I need to do this every week from now on :D
I am new here. But the more I watch, the more I want to learn about YOGA!
Thank you!
p.s. IT'S A CIRCLE! :)
I love, love, love your classes! Your explainations help me get all that I can out of each pose. Thank you!

Here's a similar one that's also a great lounge floor twist/hip opener: Lying on your back, knees to chest, take knees over to the right (ie simple spinal twist). Straighten top leg (left) and take hold of the big toe with right hand. Then reach up to grab right foot with left hand, and stretch left shoulder back to the floor, opening the chest.
@sarah: glad this one works for you!
@Diana: Hope your students enjoy the work!
