    So great. Very descriptive and accurate verbal "adjustments". I love the levels of variation added to each flow. It allows so much room to grow in my practice even if this were the only video I watched for the next month.

    This was a perfect mid-day pick me up while working from home! I love backbends and working on opening up my upper back from hunching over a computer all day. I have to say that your variation of parvarita janu was awesome. Doing this variation helped me notice how tense I was in the low back/side body. Much better stretch for me. Thank you! (and that tshirt is awesome)

    @Angeline - Great! Engaging the front body is a better way of explaining what I meant. When we backbend, there is a tendency to create the backbend and compression in our lower back. WE want the backbend to be evenly distributed from low back to mid/upper back. In order to do this, we need the help of our front body/core. Navel to spine and softening the front ribs closer together (engagement of the solar plexus) is what is required! I hope that helps :)

    @Lisa - Thanx! Glad you enjoyed it. Yes...tight shoulders will present a problem, but please TAKE YOUR TIME with the pose. You never want to rush into it just to achieve what we think is the "full pose." Keep working with your strap until you feel like you can walk your hands from the strap to your actual foot. Another way to enter the pose is by taking the opposite hand to the opposite foot in front of your body, then rotating the arm over your head with the foot in your grasp. It's a tough entry, but one that works for those of us with tighter/bulkier shoulders :) I hope that helps!

    Can you help to explain more on what you mean by the front body typically closed off when doing so much heart opening and so much back bending? I thought when the heart opens, naturally the front body also opens?

    Great sequence! I've been working on hanuman 4...can grab the foot but can't rotate my shoulders (tight shoulders). It worked w/ straps. Any other suggestions? Tnx Dice!
