This is a quick flow to keep the muscles pliable when you only have 30 mins to spare. This flow focuses more on active stretching for cross training.

    I think you're referring to supta virasana, if so then yes it's a great thigh stretch. I'm sure there are some classes with it in there on here, not sure which ones though. I'll keep it in mind. ;)

    Tiffany, I just wondered whether the pose where you sit on your knees then lie straight back is good for a thigh stretch or not? I never see it in any yogaglow class?

    Hey Diane, if we're talking about the same pose your hips should be over your back knee which is the most important part. With that set your front knee will either be over your ankle or slightly behind it but it will be difficult to get it in from of the ankle with the hips that far back. Glad you enjoyed the class Diane, great stuff for athletes. I see SO many athletes at Nike that have completely transformed their bodies & performance by adding yoga to their routine. Glad it's helping you. ;)

    Love this class Tiffany, would like my athlete friends who aren't into yoga try this one! Question for you - in the first stretch into a lunge, should we be working to keep the knee over the ankle, rather than allowing the knee to go far forward ahead of the ankle?

    Thanks again great class to get some fire going and get nicely stretched out all over, not just the legs.

    I really liked this, Tiffany, especially because you were conscious of the kinds of adjustments useful for athletes - i.e. don't try to force that shin forward in pigeon if you have knee trouble. Great, calm, teaching style as well. Thanks!
