    Hi Noah,

    Thank you for the tutorial.

My name is Marisol Brito. I have a question about the block/strap upper back opener. When you are on the block with the strap around the upper arms and you plug in the heads of the arm bones (before bringing the arms over head), are the shoulder blades flat on the block? If yes, I am assuming that they stay-put as you bring the arms over head. Yes?

    Thank you,
    Marisol

I have not taking an class on Pinca Mayurasana tutorial as many info and preparation filled as this version. It's really a fruitful and specified explanation, it builds clarity of the pose and showing the doorway of go into the pose from the foundation and choice of modification. Taking the time and doing the proper warm up is really the key to success of the pose. Thank you NOAH!!!!

Noah, when I do this pose I frequently feel it in my lower back. I don't have this problem with handstand or headstand. Only with this one. What would you recommend.

    Thank you,

    Elena

thank you Noah! This is one of my fave arm balances though still a bit chicken to come away from the wall. I have done it away from the wall with success for brief periods.
