How it works

YogaGlo is the new website that streams yoga classes globally from the YogaGlo studio in Santa Monica, California, to create the experience of participating in the class at your home or on the go.  

Our regularly scheduled teachers lead classes at least once a week at our studio.  We upload their classes shortly after class ends.  Our glocam, a discrete HD camera housed in a white box at the back of the studio, films all classes.  Our studio is spacious so you may select a space off camera if you wish not to appear in the video.

Our goal is to offer online classes free of advertising.  You get unlimited access to YogaGlo classes with an $18/month membership, the price you would normally pay for one class.  You can experience YogaGlo classes with full screen HD or normal quality video.  You can sort archived classes according to teacher, style, level, duration and specific use.  

Get your "glo on" for free at the studio! Classes are free to attend at the YogaGlo studio unless otherwise noted on our class schedule for premium workshops.  

YogaGlo on Facebook

With our YogaGlo Facebook application you can become part of the global yoga community.  Your friends on Facebook who have installed the YogaGlo app appear in your YogaGlo Friends tab.  With our Facebook app, you see from your profile when your favorite class is uploaded to the YogaGlo website. More YogaGlo social features will be added soon to our website and to our Facebook app.

Save and Share Video Classes

You can save classes with comments to your Favorites tab.  You can also share classes via email and Facebook.  

Commitment Image

Your Commitment Image changes as you practice yoga with YogaGlo or at your local studio by manually entering time practiced.  3.5+ hrs/week represents a full glo.  

Best For You?

The Best For You page helps you select the most appropriate classes by defining the various practice levels, yoga styles and corresponding teachers featured on YogaGlo.  More styles and teachers coming soon.

Poses

You can learn more about various yoga poses and their proper alignment by consulting the library of video demonstrations.  Poses can be sorted alphabetically in English and Sanskrit.  More poses videos will be added soon.

Music

The song playlist for each class is posted next to the video player along with a link to the musician's website or distribution service.  Want your music featured in our classes? Please email music@yogaglo.com.

Class Schedule

Before attending class at the studio please check the YogaGlo class schedule online.  The schedule will change frequently as we host guest teachers, lectures, workshops, special events, and as our teachers travel and teach in other parts of the world.

Canceling Your Membership

You can cancel your YogaGlo membership by clicking on the "cancel" link in the Settings tab.
