11 6:30 - 8 pm With Live Music and Meditation Yin Yoga is a slow, luxurious, languid practice that is essential cross-training both for any other type of Yoga practice as well as the demands on our bodies of everyday life. Yin Yoga stretches our tight spots and helps us to find more mobility throughout our joints. This practice helps to remove stress and tension from the body and facilitates a unique mental, emotional and spiritual state of well-being. 20 2:30 - 4:30 pm William Duprey will lead a workshop that will explore a deeper understanding of Prana and the uses in asana, Pranayama, Bandha and Mudra as practices to bring students into a deeper awareness of their practice and assist them in moving beyond habits that may be limiting their yoga practice. 27 10 am - 5 pm A community effort to cultivate conscious youth leaders skilled in the engagement of diversity and the development of social, emotional and physical wellness. Shanti Generation Youth Peacemakers Training is a 12-month, 72-hour course for adolescent youth between 12-16 years of age. In monthly, six-hour workshops, youth engage in peacemaking practices including: Yoga, Compassionate Communication, Mindful Awareness Training and Conscious Social Action. Yogaglo’s online HD video technology allows teens around the globe to experience select workshops from the Youth Peacemakers Training.
