The driving force inside Craig Kohland is the healing rhythm of the drum and the creative expression of the sacred. He is a talented multi-percussionist, performer, music and film producer, retreat facilitator and healing arts practitioner.

Shaman’s Dream Music Collective is Craig’s multi-faceted musical project that, along with producers Rara Avis and Amani Friend, has produced 25 albums in the last 15 years. Music spanning in genre’s from Ambient, Downtempo, Yoga music, World groove, African, Afro Beat, Middle Eastern, East Indian, Tribal, Funk, House, Glitch, Electronica and Hip Hop.

Since 1995 Shaman’s Dream has been at the forefront of the Yoga music/ ecstatic dance scene. Craig is the musical director of the “Shaman’s Dream World Groove Ensemble” and along with yoga teacher Micheline Berry has co-facilitated over 400 ecstatic dance/ “live” world music concerts plus countless live music yoga classes and ritual retreats.

Craig’s has also Produced, Assistant Directed and musically supervised 20 health related instructional DVD’s – ie; yoga, tai chi, chi gong, workout, etc. and production supervised over a 100 commercials and music videos.

Craig is presently located on the Big Island of Hawaii where he co-facilitates – Ecstatic Dance Big Island and rocks the dance floor as DJ Shaman’s Dream.
