Dr. Douglas Brooks and Noah Mazé

The Dr. Douglas Brooks and Noah Mazé Yoga of the Inner Voice: Philosophy & Yoga Intensive premium workshop is now available for purchase and download.

Yoga of the Inner Voice: Philosophy & Yoga Intensive
Lecture: Tales of the Inner World for Transformation and Recognition. Inside each of us are the stories of the Self as it has traversed time and place and identity. Inside those stories lie the lessons of life, instructions for living, and the secrets of awakened Consciousness. In this seminar we hear stories of great divine characters and focus on the essentials of the great Goddess who is speech and the manifestation of voice. We explore this universe in Mantras. We learn how to weave into our bodies, minds, and hearts and discover inside ourselves how Vac creates her image, mantra, and yantra, and how we can use this to add to the fabric of our own deepening self-awareness.

Asana Classes: The Asana sessions of this program are for all levels of practitioner. Whether basic or advanced, you find amplitude and tempo as you experience movement as vibration.

    Sessions available for purchase include:

    • The Garland of the Mother and the Power of Vac 7 hours of lecture with Dr. Douglas Brooks preceded by an intro asana class, approx 90 minutes. In this class, Dr. Douglas Brooks and Noah Mazé teach together, weaving lecture format with yoga practice, and leading students on an experiential journey into the world of Mantra. Dr. Brooks introduces fundamental teachings about the goddess Vac. Then Noah leads an accessible asana practice which finishes with meditation.
    • Vilasa – Waves of Beauty – An asana practice that moves in waves (“vilasa”) of varying amplitude and frequency. This vinyasa style class invites you to become the “current of Vac” – the infinite movement of energy, and the sonic power of manifestation.
    • Vimarsha – ReflectionThe power of reflection inspires this contemplative asana practice of forward bends, hip openers and inversions. Bathe in the teachings of the weekend, assimilating and digesting the theory into your experience.
    • Matrika Malin – The Garland of Little MothersThis full spectrum class empowers you to physically access the unfolding of sound in your body. Beginning with up tempo sun salutations and moving progressively through both the Sanskrit alphabet and the categories of yoga poses on the level 1 syllabus, we pair asana with alphabet so that yoga mirrors sound.

These unique premium workshop video downloads were designed to expand your practice and knowledge of the anusara method and philosophy. Classes can be purchased individually or you can purchase the entire workshop for a special combined price. Since these are Pay Per Download classes, you can download them to your computer and use them whenever you want – no internet connection required.

This is a very rare opportunity to experience  the teachings of Dr. Douglas Brooks while also exploring and expanding your yoga practice at the very same time with Noah Mazé. Enjoy!
