Yogaglo This Santa Monica, Calif.based studio streams yoga classes onto your home computer for $18 a month.
Yoga studios typically offer a range of classes, from beginners’ Vinyasa to advanced Bikram. However, classes often cost upward of $20 each and aren’t always available when you want them. That’s why Yogaglo’s online video stream is so worthy of a yoga devotee’s attention. For less than $20 a month, members get access to dozens of new classes that are streamed onto your computer through a camera set up in the yoga studio. Classes are posted online regularly and feature several yoga styles, including Vinyasa Flow, Anusara, pre?and post?natal yoga, and Hatha at varying skill levels. Through Yogaglo’s Web site, guests can also chat with instructors, participate in forum discussions and track the amount of time spent practicing. What’s more, 5% of profits go to one of the company’s nonprofit partners.
